Outfits which are not color fast may stain a doll's body. The stain may be able to be removed using a lotion containing benzoyl peroxide. Acne treatment face wash may contain anywhere from 2.5% to 10% benzoyl peroxide, and may be used for removing stains.

Applying a small amount of lotion to the stained area and letting it sit for a few days to a week (or longer depending on the severity of the staining) may remove the stain.

Warning: Benzoyl peroxide can cause bleaching. It should be used sparingly on the body, and be washed off completely after the stain is removed and before re-clothing a doll.
