Three-Piece Rooted Head
The rooted head type has the wig rooted into a piece around the scalp. The head separates into three pieces, including a scalp piece. This type was used for Pullips from July, 2003 (Wind) through February, 2004 (Nomado), including the April, 2004 special release, Enjoy Carol. It was also used for the February, 2004 Namu (Vispo).
Three-Piece Head
This head has the wig glued on. The head separates into three pieces, including a scalp piece. This type was used for Pullips from March, 2004 (Arietta) through January, 2008 (My Melody), except for the April, 2004 special release, Enjoy Carol. All Namu after Vispo use this head type. Taeyang used this head type from the February, 2006 release (M.J) through the June, 2007 release (Butler).
Two-Piece Head
This head has the wig glued on. The head separates into two pieces. This type was used for Pullip starting with the February, 2008 release (Rei Ayanami). Taeyang have this head type starting with the August, 2007 release (Hash). All Dal and Byul have this head type.
Little Series Head
This head type is used for Little series doll heads. The wig is glued on, and the head separates into two pieces.
